I would not consider the hotel to be 5 star. The hotel is looking tired in places and could do with some TLC.
I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend in The Lucky Bansko hotel and the spa and food served their was far better than this hotel. The food at breakfast was luke warm at best and never hot. The hard boiled eggs must have been out for hours as they were always cold. Could do with some yoghurt sat breakfast as well.

The Hotel was fantastic. The staff was so professional, kind and always there if you needed anything. Our son got ill the first day and they sent for a doctor and took good care of us during the whole week. We couldn't have had a better stay on our holiday.
The hotel had a minivan going back and forth every 15 minutes to the gondola and back and that was really excellent service.
The slopes were good and in the morning they were in excellent condition. Overall a really nice holiday.

Noisy plumbing in bathrooms from apartment above. Poor quality of taps in shower, should be thermostatically controlled.
