For a very short period, numerous architectural works of arts were created in Bulgaria. The contemporary building in Bulgaria is a complex combination of original ideas and innovatory decisions. And it seems that the Bulgarian architects managed to quickly catch up with the world tendencies.

Thus the National Competition “Building of the Year” was born, five years ago, with the support of “Stroitelstvo Gradat” weekly and the Ministry of the Regional Development. Ever since the first official ceremony the competition turned into the most prestigious event in the field of architecture and construction. Symbol of the competition is an exquisite messing statue, created by the famous Bulgarian sculpture Mr Petko Moskov. For five years it was granted to 64 of the most beautiful buildings in Bulgaria.

This year’s applicants are divided in eight categories. Two of the Vacation complexes presented by www.VisitBulgaria.NET are nominated in the Holiday Hotels Category. These are Redenka Lodge and Mountview Lodge Apartment Complex
