Par Tee Club chose Pirin Golf & Country Club to host its Autumn Tournament

On Saturday, 24.10.09, Pirin Golf & Country Club hosted for a second time this year the Par Tee Club Golf Tournament. The format of play was Stableford Individual on 18-holes of the Ian Woosnam golf course.

30 golfers including foreigners took part in the tournament. Non-members of the Par Tee Club also showed high interest in the tournament. The participants were divided into two divisions: A (hcp 0 – 18) and B (hcp 19 – 36). The weather remained gloomy during the whole day but without any rain and wind.

Alexander Evtimov won the first place in division A with 37 net Stableford points. Second ranked Jan Karasek with 36 points and third became Radko Stoinev with 34 points. First in division B was Ales Damm with 42 points and hcp 19.5. Stanislav Svorchik achieved the same result but his handicap of 36 ranked him second. Third in the division was the chief secretary of the Par Tee Club – Roberto Mladenov with 37 points. A bottle of wine ‘Hole-in-one’ from wine-cellar Kyosev won Ivailo Gumishev for ‘nearest to the pin’.

Ales Damm won the first place for ‘the longest drive’.
The awarding ceremony was held in the restaurant of the Club House by Roberto Mladenov and the golf director Nikolay Stanew. The evening continued with congratulations about the active Par Tee Club season from Nikolay Kaloyanov, the Pirin Golf & Country Club president.
