Location: Hotel Gela is situated in Gela village in the most beautiful and preserved part of the Rhodope mountains – the land of Oropheus and a place of divine beauty. The hotel building was build in 1056 in the centre of the bvillage, as a local school. Later when the school was closed, it was transformed into a state owned lodge. In 2002 the Building was completely refurbished and turned into a modern place for active relax in the heart of the mountain. Directions: if you travel from Sofia, take the highway from Sofia to Plovdiv, than Pass by Plovdiv, on the way to Assenovgrad – chepelare – Pamporovo – Shiroka Laka – Gela.
