The number of spa hotels in Hissar resort will increase

Two brand new hotels will open doors in Hissar resort during the spring. Hotel “Chinar”, which will be situated right next to the Municipal building is due to be completed by June. The hotel is financed with funds form the SAPARD program. The three storey complex Central is the other hotel, which will open doors by the end of the spring this year. It is situated in close vicinity to the fortification wall of the town. The owner of the hotel invested one million euro in the spa complex.

Another three balneology hotels will be also completed within two or three months. A company from Plovdiv started the construction of a spa hotel on a total area of 5650 square metres. Local businessman is also working over the construction of a four storey spa and wellness complex in the centre of the resort town. Some of the older hotels are being renovated.

During the last four years the municipal has registered an increase in the construction works. This is mainly due to the healing quality of the local mineral water.
The mayor of the municipal plans the formation of the new tourism base outside the fortification wall. Hissar resort is an attractive tourism destination all year round.
