100 years since the the first Bulgarian flight over the country

Lesnovo hosts unique International Air Show this weekend.
The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first Bulgarian flight over the country.
This is the first international aerobatics contest in Bulgaria, gathering pilots from the U.K., Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria.

Vazduharia in Sopot

The second edition of the festival for freestyle flight will be held in Sopot this September. “Vazduharia” will entertain guests of the resort in four days from September 3d. A carnival procession with para gliders, acrobatic demonstrations and even more surprises.

Guests are encouraged to attend the event in a carnival costumes with -15 % discount of the price for a tandem flight. Special surprises will be also available for the best costumes.

The night of Museums - Plovdiv

The eighth edition of “The night of museum and galleries in Plovdiv” will be held on Friday 21th September 2012. The program is divided in three parts “Museum and galleries”, “Culture and club” and city and urban environment. Over 50 galleries, art sites, clubs, bookstores, theatre halls, history and archeology monuments will transform the city into a huge scene.

Special sign for the crafts in Veliko Tarnovo

The authorities in Veliko Tarnovo will reserve a special mark, which will be a trade mark for all ateliers offering hand crafts.

In addition, the municipality plans to develop a more effective information campaign for all culture events in Veliko Tarnovo.
The municipal tourism agency “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” and students offer a free two hour walking tour in Tarnovo.

Touched by antiquity festival in Kazanlak

The stories fir the Thracian warier and priests, mythical creatures and heroes will become alive during the Festival in the Valley of the Thracian Kings

Craftsmen from the region will present ancient and contemporary techniques during the fair of the Thracian crafts. The Thracian legends will be presented through the attractive spectacle “The new Thracian”. Legends and natural elements will become alive through ancient rituals, music, dance and fire.
