“HOLIDAY & SPA EXPO” in the National Palace of Culture

The 24th International Tourism Exhibition “HOLIDAY & SPA EXPO” takes place from 22 to 24. 02. 07 in the National Palace of Culture. The event was officially opened by the chairwoman of the State Tourism Agency, Anelia Kroushkova. She said that such exhibitions were essential for the development of Bulgarian tourism. The fair is organized by PRIM EXPO in association with Sofia Municipality, Sofia Tourist Council, Bulgarian Tourist Chamber, Bulgarian Association of Tourist Agencies, Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association and Tourism Association and other associations of this branch.

More than 300 participants include companies, tourism agencies, organisations, municipalities, specialised spa centres, complexes and resorts joined the exposition on a 4000 square meters exposition area. Various international companies are taking part in the event as well. Among them are participants from Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Tunis, Thailand and Egypt.

The presentation of the municipals is especially attractive. There are a folklore programs and exhibitions of local cookery show and souveniers at the entrance of the fair. The traditional ceminaries and conferences, whose lectors are famous names from the tourism branch, are of great interest.
