SofiaEcho, 01 June 2007

Bulgaria will receive from Germany more than 1.5 million euro for the setting up of two professional qualification projects in the sphere of tourism.
Government has already approved the draft contract for funding between Labour and Social Policy Ministry and German Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) banking group, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.

Funding will be used for equipment supply for the two centres for professional qualification in the sphere of tourism.
Three such centres operate in Pleven, Pazardzhik and Stara Zagora already.
The aim of the two projects is to provide education for adults with the participation of companies and social partners. The new education system will meet market needs.
The centres will organise short-term and long-term courses for chefs, hotel managers, tourist guides and attendants.
