Eco village to be constructed near Bulgaria’s mountain town of Troyan

In April 2007, Bulgarian Ecoengineering-S company started the construction of eco village Azareia in Stara Planina Mountain, close to the town of Troyan.

Azraeia will function as a health and sports centre. Houses in Azareia village will have the typical for Ecoengineering S style pyramid structure.

PropertyWise magazine already reported about the unique houses inspired by the ancient construction technologies and the pyramid shape. The pyramid construction provides for a healthy living environment and a minimal loss of thermal energy.

So far, the project provides for the construction of six houses. The eco-houses' orientation is harmonised with that of the sun and the planets, the distribution of rooms in the building meets specific requirements for good energy balance. Eco materials will be used for the construction of the village.
