Constructions of Black Sea Highway Start in 2008

Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development informed that is ready to start talks on the award of a concession contract for the Black Sea highway in March 2008.
The road will link the two biggest seaside cities - Varna and Burgas.

Asen Gagauzov, Regional Development Minister said that by now the route of the highway is under detail discussions.

The motorway will start (from South to North) from Burgas through Kableshkovo, St Vlas, Bania, Obzor, Priseltsi and reaching Beloslav will link up with the Hemus highway through a bridge facility, said from Dnevnik.

The shoreline road is expected be 103 km long. Only 10 km of the facility have been completed for now.

There is still no working draft available said Gagauzov.
