Famous Golfer Gary Player Inspects the Golf Courses Construction in Dobrich Region

The golf legend and one of the five winners of the golf's Grand Slam of all the times Gary Player visited the region of Dobrich again. Seventy-two-year-old Player, nicknamed the Black Knight, inspected two of the golf courses constructed after his projects. He checked up the sites and gave further instructions.

Gary Player believes that Bulgaria could become an excellent golf destination.
"You have wonderful climate, delicious food and hard-working people. Your country boasts beautiful beaches and sun, and golfers like sunny weather," the legend said.
The Black Knight explained that if Bulgaria wanted to attract rich golfers the government should sponsor at least one golf tournament in the country.

"Golfers spend piles of money and you would have enough funds to fix up your infrastructure and build hospitals, schools and nursing homes for the elderly," he said.
Player explained that Tiger Woods, George Bush and Bin Laden were the three most famous golfers in the world.
