Romanians Prefer to Spend Their Holidays in Bulgaria

Although the significant increasing of the life standard in Romania, still the biggest part of people prefer cheaper offers for their holidays.
This could explain the quicken interest of Romanians towards celebrating New Year's Eve in Bulgarian resorts as Bansko or Borovetz.

In Romanian mountain resorts holidays' offers are of about 1000 EUR per man, which is not quite accessible for the most of the people.

After the summer tourism offensive, now the Bulgarians attack with offers for the winter Holidays. With prices of 50 to 60 EUR per night, including food and a holiday dinner, the Bulgarian winter resorts attract more and more Romanian clients.

For now the Romanian hoteliers say, they don't feel threatened by the Bulgarian offensive, because in Romania demand is bigger than supply, especially in the traditional resorts.

Despite that though, the good conditions and compatible prices in Bulgarian resources as Borovets and Bansko, already had formed a permanent Romanian clientele, consisted mainly from inhabitants of Bucharest with average incomes.
