Bulgaria with three prestige awards on the BAHR congress

“Park Hotel Pirin” – Sandanski, hotel Astraea – Hissar and the Happy bar & grill announced the best on the Balkans.

The prestige rewards were granted to Bulgarian hotels and restaurants during the regular congress of the Balkan Association of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs, which took place from 6-8th December 2007 in Belgrad, Serbia.

The newly opened “Park Hotel Pirin” – Sandanski, received the prize for the best spa complex on the Balkan Peninsula for 2007. The reward was presented by the general director of the International Hotelier and Restaurant Association, Mr. Abraham Rosenthal.

The best restaurant chain on the Balkans for 2007 is Happy Bar & Grill. The reward was received by Mr. Blagoi Ragin, who represented the owner of the chain Mr. Orlin Popov.

The prize for fast developing SPA& History hotel on the Balkans for 2007 was presented to hotel Astraea – Hissar.

Bulgaria was represented by the head of the Bulgarian Hotelier and Restaurateur Association, Mr. Mlagoi Ragin, who supported the candidatures of the Bulgarian hotels and restaurants.
