More than 60 000 Hungarian tourists in Bulgaria last year

More than 60 000 Hungarian tourists visited Bulgaria last year. The information was announced by the Yordan Yordanov, the consul of honour of Hungary in Varna.
He said that there were periods when Hungarians stopped visiting Bulgaria but now the number of the tourists vastly increases.
About 30 000 of the Hungarian tourists are coming in Varna region. They are interested in Varna and Shoumen, because the two regions are closely related to the Hungarian history. Madara horseman cut in the rock relief was researched by Hungarian archeologist. The first brewery in Bulgaria, "Shoumensko pivo", was founded in Shoumen also by Hungarian contractors.
