Bulgaria to Possibly Host Formula 1 Races

By December 15, the Organizing Committee of Grand Prix Bulgaria is going to send their official letter to Bernie Ecclestone - owner, promoter and president of Formula 1 Management and Formula ! Administration for approval of the project to build a Formula 1 race track in Bulgaria.
The news was reported by the Bulgarian National Radio on Sunday.
According to the letter, the track near the Bulgarian Northern town of Dolna Mitropolya, currently in construction stage for Moto Grand Prix, could be used for Formula 1 races as well.
On Saturday evening, during the gala dinner of world motorbike off-road champions, Bulgaria and the airport complex at Dolna Mitropolya received two special awards - "Organizer" and "Race Track Number 1" in the world in the Super Moto discipline.
