The winter season will be successful for the Bulgarian Tourism

The winter season will complete successfully, considering the number of tourists visiting the mountain resorts in Bulgaria. This was a forecast by the head of the Institute for Analysis and Assessment of the Tourism sector Rumen Draganov.

Despite of the problems on the Greek border, the high quality of the tourism product in Bansko and Sandanski, the number of tourists visiting Bulgaria remained intact.

The winter season continues with the positive trend set since the Christmas and New Year holidays.
According to Rumen Draganov a slight stagnation can be felt, a the bed capacity of the resort has an average occupation this season and an average income form the accommodation base. However the forecasts for the winter tourism season are optimistic.

The huge investments and the low price of the product makes in attractive for all closer markets, during financial crisis. A good advertisement policy will support the Bulgarian tourism and the good results will once again prove, that the tourism industry is the brunch of the economy which can take Bulgaria out of the financial crises.
