Bulgaria – year round holiday destination

We are working for the transformation of the Bulgarian image as a year round holiday destination.

This was announced by the minster of economy, energetics and tourism Ivo Marinov, at the opening of a discussion devoted to the development of spa and wellness tourism in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria holds the second place in the world regarding mineral water resources, after Iceland. The country has the privileged to offer a unique combination of historical sites and mineral water resources.

The main topic of the discussion concerned the development of spa tourism in Bulgaria, the balneolgy, as a resources for specialized tourism, as well as the good practices for the development of Spa and wellness tourism in the region.

The meeting is organized during the fam trip “Spa and wellness”. This is the first round of the project “Communication campaign for incoming tourism in Bulgaria”.
