Project for sustainable tourism in Bulgaria and Romania

Bulgaria and Romania together realized the project “The path of the water - natural and cultural-cognitive routes for sustainable tourism” worth 604 thousand Euro. It is a part of the program Cross Border Cooperation Bulgaria - Romania 2007-2013.
Logo of the tourist brand "Euro region Lower Danube” will be choose with competition. Tourist guides and geographical information system are part of the activities in this project.
Traveling Seminar with Bulgarian and Romanian experts evaluated 45 sites in Veliko Turnovo region. Experts have assessed the tourism potential of natural and cultural attractions near Arbanassi, Veliko Tarnovo, Elena and Pavlikeni.
