Plovdiv attracts tourists with a special summer, culture program

Plovdiv will host numerous culture events of local and international significance during the summer season.

The traditional Opera spectacle will welcome guests in the Antique theatre in Plovdiv in June. The spectacles will take place on 09, 15m 22m 29 and 30 June. Special gala concert will close the events on 05 July 2011.

All cinema fans will have the chance to visit “Movie nights in Philipopolis”, which will be held at the “Orpheus” stage in July. The international festival of camera music will start on 10th July and will last until 20th July in the Ethnographic museum in Plovdiv.

The week of crafts will be opened from 27th June - 03rd July in the Ethnоgraphic museum in the town. Traditional crafts from all parts of Bulgaria will be presented in the museum.
Exhibition-bazaar of national costumes, carpets and pottery will be also shown in the museum from 01st August - 31st August.
