Bulgaria hosts the biggest golf tournament in the Balkans

The largest international golf competition in the Balkans - Balkan Challenge Trophy will be held on July, 1 and 2 at the course of BlackSeaRama in Bulgaria. Golf tournament is organized by the Bulgarian Golf Association. The president of the Committee for Development of R & A - Keith Hodzhkinsan visited Bulgaria for the golf tournament.
The minister of Physical Education and Sports – Svilen Nejkov shared with Hodzhkinsan that Bulgaria hopes to have it's own golf players in the Olympic Games in 2016.
In 2011 R& A funded various projects related to the golf development all over the world. The annual budget for R & A is about 5 million pounds. It is used about training programs and training for adolescent golfers.
