Bulgaria participates in the biggest tourism fair in Russia

Bulgaria participates in the biggest tourism exhibition in Russia - MITT. This year is the 19th edition of the fair. It is taking place from March 21 to 24 in Moscow.

Bulgaria has a 552 sq m stand with over 40 tourism representatives - tour operators, municipalities, hotels and organizations. Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism organizes Bulgarian participation.

The companies will offer various opportunities for vacation and relaxation - alternative spots for extreme tourists, offers for seaside holidays, cultural trips and spa vacations and procedures. Among the highlights are the possibilities of Bulgaria as a dynamic destination for quality tourism product at reasonable prices.

All visitors of the Bulgarian stand will have the choice to see painter Pavel Mitkov who will demonstrate specific techniques for painting on three sculptures - eggs in the colours of the Bulgarian flag (white, green, red). The painter will represent the town of Nessebar with its churches on one of the eggs.

The third conference for medical tourism will take place during the fair. Bulgaria will present its huge potential in the healing tourism.

Russia is among the most important tourism markets for Bulgaria. In 2011 more than 455 000 Russians visited Bulgaria, which represents 20.3 percent increase in comparison to 2010.
