Hunting Tourism Brought to Bulgaria almost 1,5 Million Euro

Hunting tourism brought to Bulgaria nearly three million leva (1,5 million euro) in 2011.
It presents 30 percent increase compared to the figure from 2010. The data was announced by the Executive Forest Agency.
Over 4000 foreign hunters visited Bulgaria last year. Red deers are among the most expensive trophies, the price for one reaches over 50 000 euro. 13 of the fired deers took golden medals and 18 silver medals.
Mouflons are also among the most preferred species. In 2011 were shoot 19 trophy mouflons, seven of them took golden medals.
