70 million EUR Will be Invested in Bio-Disel Production in Pleven

Spanish GreenFuel Corporation plans to invest 70 million euro in the construction of bio-diesel and bio-ethanol production facilities and storage areas in the town of Pleven.
The company has confirmed its intentions to invest in the region of Pleven due to the town’s location near the port of Somovit, the well-developed infrastructure and large production of grain crops, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
GreenFuel's experts chose three terrains, which are most appropriate for the construction of production facilities. The plots are located near the towns of Gulyantsi and Knezha.
The investor has announced its intentions to meet the terrains' owners soon.
Economic experts from Pleven said that investment in the region for the past year exceed 320 million euro, 58 per cent of which were invested in industrial construction and technical equipment. Other funds have been utilised for residential construction in Pleven.
