Vinegrowing institute makes wine tourism plans

The oldest in the Balkans Institute for Viticulture and Oenology in the city of Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, is drafting a project for the development of wine tourism in this country. Wine tourism has become a tradition with many nations across the world, to which Bulgaria is but a newcomer. The region of Pleven in particular and the country in general has the potential to come up with an itinerary that can at the same time reveal the beauty of the Bulgarian landscapes and advertise the opportunities for growing quality grapes varieties and making good wines.
