A project for unique tourism attractions is being developed in Pleven region

The “Complex project for the development of sustainable tourism in Pleven region” plans unique tourism attractions, announced the mayor Mr. Naiden Zelenogorski on a regular session of the municipal council. Major part of the investments is planned to improve the infrastructure and access to the tourism attractions in the region. One of the most important tourism sites in the region is the Canyon of Chernelka River through the villages Gortalovo and Kartojabene.

The project was developed by Professor Tsvetan Tonchev, together with Dekran Ovanesya form the municipality and will apply for finance from the OP “Regional development”, with main priority “Sustainable development of tourism”. If the project gets approval the municipality will grant 15% of the needed funds.
