Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin opened Monday, 07 May, the International Spring Fair in the city of Plovdiv.
A total of 1274 producers of consumer and technological goods from 41 countries will take part in the expo.
"Plovdiv Fair will continue to be one of the most important expos in South-eastern Europe as it is a scene for meeting of companies from many countries around the globe," Minister Kalfin said.
The foreign exhibitors are 625, 11% more than those, who joined the expo last year.
It is expected that about 70,000 visitors are to see the goods this week.
An exhibition of gilt, silver and china utensils from the King's Collection of the National Museum of History will enchant the visitors of the expo.
