“Sea of Wine” 2008 – official program

The festival “Sea of wine” will take place from 31 July – 07 September. The official opening took place on 31 August 2008 from 20:00 o’clock on the central square in Pomorie. The national week of the sea is also included in the festival. It has started on 03 August 2008 and will continue until 10th August.

03 – 10.08.2008 – “National week of the sea”;

14 August 2008 - “Wine bazaar” - festival of the wine growers with wine tasting program and lots of surprises. The event will take place on the central square in the resort.
- 7.00 PM - Concert of the Municipal Brass Orchestra;
- 9.00 PM – Concert of the “Sesoni” band (Seasons) with Stefan Diomov;

16 August 2008 – 9.00 PM Show spectacle of formation “Dance of the Wind” from Stara Zagora;

21 August 2008 – 9.00 PM Concert of the Municipal’s Brass Orchestra;

8.30 PM Gala dinner of the martial arts – Aikido Club Pomorie;
8.00 PM “Alo, alo Anhialo” – comedy show;

24 August 2008 – 20.30 PM Dance fiesta – Cheerleading groups, Club form modern dances from Pomorie, Dance formation – modern ballet from Haskovo;

28 August 2008 – Folk Fiesta – Concert by “Rackovina” ensemble, Bulgarian – Greek company – Pomorie, featuring the singers from the Shopski region - The Mitevi Brothers;

01 – 02 September 2008 – the rhythm of the sea – Festival of brass orchestras and cheerleading groups;

07 September 2008 – 7.00 PM Reward show for the winners of the poetry competition “Sea of wine”.

7.30 PM Closing ceremony of the festival and official opening of the grapes picking campaign in the region.

8.00 PM Concert –“The Nightingale of the Strandzha Mountain” – Kalinka Sgurova;
