International conference on the SPA & Wellness tourism

On September 12 Bulgarian Institute for Standardization organizde a conference on the development of SPA & Wellness tourism in Bulgaria.

The event was held in Grand Hotel Pomorie and was supported by the Ministry og Economy, Energetic and Tourism.
The spa industry already holds a leading position in the entertainment sector around the world, as more and more people rediscover “SPA” as a lifestyle. The spa centers are transformed in laboratories, where visitors learn how to fight stress. This is a tendency in many countries, as well as in Bulgaria. Thus it is of great importance, people who work in the sector to maintain high quality service in order to meet the expectations of their clients.

The main goal of the seminar is to provide opportunity for the Bulgarian companies and organizations to observe the good practices in Spa and wellness tourism and talasso-therapy in different countries.

The main themes in the seminar are: The priority of standardization in the field of International tourism; the concept SPA+ opportunities for its application; Regulations for the development of the Spa and wellness tourism n Bulgaria, as well as some practical themes: Good practices from Thailand and traditions and contemporary methods in Grand Hotel Pomorie.
