Gov't Prepares Procedure for Awarding Concession Contract for Rousse Airport

The procedure for awarding a concession contract for the civil airport in Rousse is to be launched. Bulgaria’s government has to take a decision about the start of the procedure. The airport in Rousse is included in the National Strategy for Integrated Development of Bulgaria's Infrastructure and is among the priorities under the Transport Operating Programme (OP). The implementation of the project will turn Rousse into an important transportation center offering all types of transport to passengers and goods. A project for aviation school for pilot training can be also implemented.
