Romanians Attack Bulgaria for Christmas Shopping

Dozens of thousands Romanians have directed towards Bulgaria and Ukraine on a Christmas shopping.
Inhabitants of Central and Southern Romania regions go shopping in Bulgaria, mainly in Ruse, where prices are much lower than the Romanian's.

Romanian citizen are assisted by the fact, to pass the border they need only to pay a low tax for crossing the Danube River Bridge and to show identity card.

From Bulgaria Romanians buy food goods, shoes, clothes, technique and even building materials.

During the last few days through the border point Siret pass over 10, 000 people daily, over 15, 000 in the weekends. Kilometric tails form on the country borders, which imposes waiting for hours.

Romanian Border Service expect traffic stream to increase even more throughout the next years.
