SPA and Wellness Tourism in Bulgaria to Flourish

The Bulgarian and the foreign tourists' interest towards local SPA and wellness tourism has increased.
This was reported in the latest research of the local State Agency of Tourism (SAT).
According to the research 18% of the Bulgarians and 34% of the foreign tourists spend time for SPA tourism during their winter vacations.
One of the main priorities in the strategy for tourism developing is exactly the SPA tourism, Stela Baltova, vice chairperson of SAT, pointed out.
The interest towards SPA is enormous on a worldwide level. According to specialists all European countries should unite and create a common SPA & Wellness product, to be offered on the world tourism market.
