Sandanski can be transformed into a centre of culture tourism in Southwestern Bulgaria

Sanadanski municipality can be transformed into one of the most attractive destinations for culture tourism in the region, due to the project “The dawn of the Christianity”.

The municipality will apply for Operation program “Regional development” with the project.

The project plans the creation of an archeology complex in the centre of Sandanski, which will combine the three biggest monuments of the Early Christianity – and early Christianity complex with the antique street, exhibited by the main street, the Basilica of st. John and the episcopacy basilica.
