The Pumpkin Holiday Starts in Sevlievo

Second holiday of the pumpkin starts in Sevlievo today and will last until 30th November. Organizers of the event are Sevlievo municipal and the municipal tourism association.
Today exhibitions “Pumpkin Fantasies” for drawings on pumpkin theme and original figures made of pumpkin and “The Best Pumpkin…” will be opened in the foyer of the Home of Culture. Children from kindergartens from the town will perform a funny show called “Pumpkin Show”

The culmination of the second pumpkin holiday will be 30th November, when a bazaar for raw and roasted pumpkins will be opened. Local citizens and guests of Sevlievo will be able to enjoy a culinary exhibition called “Pumpking temptations”. The results of the competitions for the most beautiful, the biggest and the oddest pumpkin will be announced.

Guests of the event will be able to enjoy traditional tikvenik (pumpkin cake). The restaurants and pubs in town will offer special pumpkin menu.
