Open-Air Summer Festival 07

The first Bulgarian Open Air Summer Festival 2007 will bring together young people, keen on extreme sports and youth digital arts in Sofia in early July.
There will be discussions and seminars, thrill-seeking and electronic contests, lots of music and a light show out in the open. Gamers from all over Bulgaria will be competing in the national finals for the World Cyber Games 2007, where Bulgaria has been competing since 2001.

Besides there will be educational lectures and discussions concerning the Internet, skateboarding tournaments, demonstrations of skills in overcoming obstacles in an urban environment as well as live graffiti painting shows. Parents will be invited to join a variety of children-parents contests.

The musical part of the festival will keep on in Malo Buchino, a picturesque village in the enviroments of the capital city. 15 leading DJs from Europe and US will be performing in a nearly 40-hour-long marathon. Festival organizers and sponsors have promised there will be free admission for all. Our country is becoming a part of a global cultural festival, which knows no geographical barriers and restricts, says Nikolay Slavchev, Chairman of the Federation of electronic sports in Sofia.
