Ice Rinks in Bulgaria for Christmas

The ice rink on the top of Varna Mall will be a real attraction not only during the cold winter days, but in the summer either. The unique facility will be 30 metres long and will be spread on the last floor of the new trade centre in Varna Sea Resort. The residents and guests of Bulgaria’s sea capital will have the opportunity skate 28 metres high above the ground.

The visitors and citizens of Sofia will also skate, outdoor. On Dec, 15 the ice rink over Ariana Lake at Orlov Most (the Lions’ Bridge) will open. It will be spread on 1200 square metres and will be the biggest on the Balkan Peninsula. Along the lake there will be wooden houses, which will sell sweets, Christmas surprises and red wine. 500 new skates are bought for the sport lovers.

10 days before Christmas another ice rink, in front of the National Theatre will also open. A big Christmas tree will entertain the visitors.

The ice rink in Bansko is ready as well. The rink is located between “Strajite” Hotel and the first station of the gondola.
