The Austrian competitor Stefan Gimpl won the Big Air snowboarding World Cup event, held in Sofia on Saturday, with overall standings leader Janne Korpi coming second.
The Slovenian Matevz Petek took the third place in the finals.
Bulgaria was represented by Mario Benyo, Dimitar Chokoev and Assen Lilov.
More than 2,000 passionate fans of the attractive sport gathered under the lights at the Knyaz Alexander Batenberg Square in Bulgaria's capital to enjoy the show.
"I am pleased from the whole organization and conditions in Sofia, it was all on very high level," shared the winner Stefan Gimpel.
It will take about three days to workers to disjoint the ramp, constructed especially for the competition. The facility weighs more than 600 tonnes, is 100 metres long, 32 metres high and 20 metres wide.
Although it slowed down traffic during rush hours on one of Sofia's main boulevards, the event's organisers have refused to move it to another location.
They also refused to postpone it until after the winter holidays, due to the fact that the TV time for it had already been booked, including with the Eurosport channel.
