Most Popular Bulgarian Tourist Landmarks Will be Presented in Madrid

The Union of the tourism investors will represent Bulgaria in Madrid during the celebrations of the Day of Europe. All capitals from the European Union nations will represent themselves as tourist destinations.

The event takes place at the central square in Madrid “Puerta del Sol” and three metro stations in Madrid. An exhibition of photographs from Bulgaria is arranged in metrostation “Retiro”. The pictures present the most popular landmarks in Bulgaria like Rila Monastery, Aleksadar Nevski cathedral, Tarnovo Fortress and etc.

All European nations will show their folklore heritage on the 9th of May, the day of Europe at “Puerta del Sol” square. Bulgarian folklore ensembles will be there on the 10th and 11th of May too. The spectators will receive information materials and booklets about Bulgaria and Sofia.
