Greek Flocafe Open Doors in Bulgaria

Flocafe - a cafe chain part of Greek food group Vivartia, opened on Tuesday, May 13 its first outlet on Bulgarian territory, The Dnevnik a.m. revealed.
The Flocafe is located in Sofia, on the St. Nedelya square on the same place where the Goody's eatery was, another chain part of the Vivartia group.

The managers intend to open at least one more outlet in another city in Bulgaria by the end of the year.

The Flocafe chain operates about 80 outlets in Greece and Cyprus.

It is famous in Bulgaria with the OMK milk company and croissant maker Chipita, from the Dnevnik explain.

Flocafe will share the shelf with locally-owned coffeehouse chains Onda and Coffe House and established international players like coffeeheaven, Costa Coffee and Coffee Republic.

The McDonald's coffee house called McCafe also joined the market recently.

The Starbucks brand will also make its debut in Bulgaria under a franchise agreement with Greek company Marinopoulos.
