Braemar Golf Appointed to Manage Pravets Golf Course & Spa in Bulgaria

Golf of St Andrews, a company providing golf course management, development, technical, and marketing services has been selected to manage the golf facilities at Pravets Golf & Spa. Mr Lachezar Todorov, CEO of Terra Tour Services announced the signing of the contract earlier this week. Mr Keith Hasalam, Managing Director of Braemar Golf states ” We are excited to be involved in the development with Terra Tour Service, managing their fantastic facility, and working together to grow the game of golf in Bulgaria.

Pravets Golf & Spa is located in the picturesque town of Pravets located just 30 mins from the capital of Sofia. This upscale resort is one the first to be introduced in Bulgaria and will feature a 18 hole championship golf course designed by Harridine Golf. With the stunning Stara Planina mountain as its back drop the golf course winds its way around the shores of beautiful lake Pravets. The course undulates gently in complete harmony with the surrounding landscape and is a classic Par 72; a total length of 6510 metres from the back tees. Members and guests will also enjoy an outstanding practice facility and state of the art Golf Academy. All 18 holes scheduled to be open for play in the spring 2010.
