Varna Municipality won the tourism development award

Arena Di Serdica hotel in Sofia hosted the official ceremony of the Eleventh Annual Awards of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA). Varna Municipality took the prize for the most beneficial cooperation in the field of tourism.
The Annual BHRA awards were established to help the ambitious, initiative and well qualified people who proved that the tourism should be among the Bulgarian economy priorities.
Since 1996, in the end of each year BHRA announces the decision of the Association’s board of the managers for giving the prizes in 21 categories. Two new awards – “Balnehotel” and “Apartment hotel” were added in 2007.
The new nominations were submitted by the members of BHRA. They were established as a result of the efforts and the initiative of the BHRA members and mostly of the development of the SPA, congress and cultural tourism in Bulgaria.
