More than 20 Bulgarian cellars will take part at the first issue of the wine and tourism expo Vinotour, which takes place in Varna from 23.04 till 26.04.2008.
The exhibition will be a crossing point of the wine producers and the tour operators, hotels and restaurant managers to discuss the wine market for tourist season 2008 and the future of the wine producing and tourism in Bulgaria. The main organizer of the exhibition, Lambrin Sotirov, said that the Vinotour expo is an excellent opportunity for the beginning of the first wine tours for the 2008 tourist season.
The wine tasting at each stand will be free and there won’t be an entrance tax. 350 official guests are invited at the opening.
The connoisseurs could enjoy the navy brass orchestra. The ceremony will start with a health and the mayor of Varna, Kiril Yordanov hit the gong in “Old Varna” cellar. There will be a presentation of French and Austrian wines and special photo exhibition will show the development of the Bulgarian wine growing and wine producing traditions.
