DentalTourism Set to Flourish in Bulgaria

Foreign tourists, who have visited Bulgaria's old capital of Veliko Tarnovo, often stop by the local dentists to have their teeth fixed cheaper, Standart daily reported.
Bulgarian tour operators have added dental services to their tourist packages, banking on the professionalism of the dentists and the low prices.

"Bulgaria may very well become a top destination for dental tourism," dentist Nikolay Voychev explained, "because there is a niche in this sector and we are willing to fill it, no pun intended."

A pulpitis treatment for example costs just BGN 67 (about GBP 22.6) in Bulgaria, which is considerably less than anywhere else in Europe.

Combined with Veliko Tarnovo's impressive historical sites, rich cultural heritage and vibrant night life, fixing your teeth may now be seen as an adventure,experts believe.
