Lift connects Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi

Lift line will connect Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanasi. The municipality of Veliko Tarnovo has already worked out a project for a rope line, which will make the tourists moving easier, said “Standart” daily.
The representatives from the city council said that the lift will be well integrated with the environment and will not cause damages to the surrounding area. The first station will be at the foot of the historical hill Tsarevets, and the lift will end near “Arbanassi Palace” hotel. Another rope line facility will be constructed. It will connect the monument of Nikola Pikolo in the the town and the ground near the Railway station. The two projects are ready and there are investors who want to put in their money. This was announced by the municipality spokesmen. The final step is the National Institute of Monuments of Culture to give the construction free run and the bureaucratic work to be finished. 4 million Euro will be spent on the big lift from Tarnovo to Arbanassi and up to 1 million Euro on the smaller project.
