A Five Star Congress Centre will be Constructed in Veliko Tarnovo

A five star congress centre and a mall, financed by Israeli funds, will be constructed in Veliko Tarnovo, announced prof. d-r Krasimir Metodiev, honored consul of Israel in Bulgaria. He also added that during the past few months numerous Israeli companies, businessmen, science and public figures were attracted to Veliko Tarnovo.

Several projects are already on the way – the contraction of a mall and a trade centre along the way Varna – Sofia. He pointed that the investors from Israel want to invest in tourism, as more than 100 000 citizens from Israel visit Bulgaria annually. Most of them only stay along the seaside and never enter the inner parts of the country. Hat is why they want to direct the tourism flow towards Veliko Tarnovo.

The investors discussed the opportunity to use Gorna Oryahovitsa airport for charter flights from Israel.
