A performance in English in “Baba Vida” fortress

For the first time foreign tourists, who visit Vidin and the Baba Vida fortress, will be able to watch a special performance in English language. The spectacle of the municipal dramatic theatre is in historical thematic and will be performed on the open air scene in the fortress. Important moments of the past of Bulgaria, with an accent of the Vidin kingdom will be presented – this was stated by the mayor of Vidn d-r Ivan Tsenov.
The audiences of the first show, which will take place on 15th June, will e a group of 120 tourists from Canada, USA and Australia. The performance is part of the informative tour in the medieval castle. Four tourism groups, which already declared interest in the show, will visit Vidin during the forthcoming months.
The new initiative is part of the strategy of Vidin Municipal for the development of cultural tourism and the popularization of the town as an attractive tourism destination.
