Archaeological excavations made on Danube Bridge 2 construction site

This is the third day we have been making excavations in the area of the Danube Bridge 2 for archaeological site Necropolis, which is of the late bronze age, Stefan Alexandrov from the Institute of Archaeology has announced. He added the current excavations have been based on 1908 data of archaeologist Atanas Chilingirov. In Alexandrov’s words archaeological research works will be finished within a month.
If they find the Necropolis, it would mean a valuable finding for our Museum of History, Vidin Mayor Ivan Tsenov announced.
