Euro-Swiss University to Open in Vidin

The mayor of Vidin(North-western Bulgaria) Roumen Vidov, the regional governor Krustio Spassov and the bishop of Vidin Dometian will submit today in the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency documents for the accreditation of a Euro-Swiss Technical University in Vidin, informs darik.net.

A positive position of the agency is the first important step in the procedure for the start of the actions on the implementation of this extremely important for Vidin educational project.

The idea needs to be officially approved by the Council of ministers and the parliament.

Less than a month ago, the president of the Euro-Swiss technical university prof. Wolfgang Kuenel met with the mayor and the regional governor of Vidin.

Both officials granted full support and commitment for cooperation when the actual steps for the university's organization are undertaken.
