US Ambassador Visits Vidin
Kamelia Krumova, information from Vidin regional centre
The regional council of Vidin engineer Krastio Spasov met the US ambassador in Bulgaria Mr. John Beyrle, during his visit in Vidin city.
During the meeting the regional head introduced his guest for the general conditions in the Vidin region and the perspectives for its development. Engineer Spasov noted that the majour priority of the Bulgarian government for Vidin is the realization of the Danube Bridge 2. Ambassador Beyrle pointed out that the construction of the bridge will attract more investments.
The regional head stressed on the development of Vidin as a transport-communication centre by recovering all kinds of transport that have functioned years ago in the regional centre.
Engineer Krastio Spasov introduced his guest with the initiative for opening a University in Vidin.
