Twice as many tourists in Belogradchik this season

Twice as many tourists will visit Belograchik this year compared to the previous one.
This was announced by the mayor of Belogradchik municipality, Emil Tsankov. About 200 000 tourist will visit Belogradchik rocks this year, which is twice as much compared to previous season.
The national campaign for nomination of Belogradchik rocks in the “New seven wanders of nature” contest made Belogradchik more popular tourist destination. New parking lots will be built to accommodate the increasing number of the visitors’ vehicles. The development of three new hotels and a holiday village starts this year in the region of Rabisha village near the Magurata cave.
More than 15 national media reported the nomination of the Belogradchik rocks. They took the first place in the contest in “Caves, Rock formations and Valleys” category.
More than 3,5 million people from Australia, New Zeeland, RSA, USA, Kanada, China, Ukraine, Hungary and etc. has been voted for the Bulgarian natural phenomenon.
