A team of Bulgarian Scientists showed how the ancient town looked 3000 years ago. This happened through laser shooting of some parts of the rock complex, with technology, which was first applied now for this case.
The method represents scanning will laser. At this base a 3-D image of the sanctuary palace of Perperikon is made.
According to the head of the archeological team Nikolay Ovcharov, said that this will probably ease the work of the archeologists.
The ambition of the scientists is to lay the foundations of a digital library with 3-D images of archeological objects. For the realization of this project idea, they will search for cooperation with the Ministry of Culture in Bulgaria.
